I have been street canvassing likely democratic voters in the innercity neighborhoods of SW Ohio for 5 weeks now. I have revised my technique over the weeks and have stepped up the rhetoric. I did not focus group it but I believe I have hit on the perfect memme for the low income innercity, registered but historically unlikely voter demographic. We got them registered, now if we can close the deal with innovative GOTV techniques I beleive we have a winner.

If you haven't tried the TWO-FACED graphic in the innercity I urge you to. I hang the TWO-FACED graphic on utlity poles, boarded up store fronts, bus stop benches and shelters in low income innercity neighborhood streets that have lots of foot traffic. And yes, I even hang it on corners where dope boys are selling crack. I am a middle aged white woman but everyone loves me because I am a Bush hater and I am helping to get rid of him. I talk to anyone who wants to listen and I tell everyone that Bush is a punk ass bitch. Not only do people love hearing those words coming from my mouth, they love the TWO-FACED graphic and lots of people ask me for personal copies. I average about 50-75 TWO-FACED graphic placements a day and talk to literally dozens of people everyday. I do this on my lunchbreak as my downtown job is surrounded by the poorest neighborhoods in the entire city. I also talk to the older black men who hang on street corners and I am in the process of recruiting them for election day GOTV activities and poll protection.
PS I never feel unsafe when I am doing this.
