you can run, but you can't hide... |
|
What does that mean. I think Shrub* said that a few times about Osama, but never mind about all that. I don't think Shrub* actually knows what it means, he seems to say it at odd times. He will say something like --Senator Kerry wants the French to protect our homeland. He can run, but he can't hide--. I find it odd, because he is making shit up about Kerry, and then acting like Kerry is trying to hide from it. It seems to me, most of the time he is attributing it to something Kerry didn't actually say, or do. I think like "smoke'em out" or "bring it on" it is one of those 'tough guy' phrases that shrub* likes, yet doesn't totally understand it. Has anyone else noticed this???...Kevin.

4. This will make Bush shut up for good! |
|
IF Bush says "You can run but you cannot hide"... Kerry should say something along this line: "I didn't hide when this country called on us to serve in Vietnam. I volunteered"
On the topTo Stem Cell research, Kerry should ask this simple question: "Do you want your granchildren to die of the same diseases that killed your grandparents?"
FYI - I keep posting this because I think it would really work and hope that by some small miracle it just might.

5. I love it when Kerry hits him with logic . . . |
|
He could say something like: "Not true Mr. President. You can run and you can hide at the same time. And apparently Bin Laden can do both while this administration is too focused on Iraq to capture him" :bounce:

8. I liked Kerry's most recent rebuttal |
|
which was that Bush can run but he can't hide from the truth, either in the economy or in Iraq. He quoted Reagan in saying "Facts can be stubborn things." I like that. He's quoting Republicans against these guys.

9. Mr. President, you can run but you can't hide from your record! |

Woody's plans are nothing but empty platitudes while he wildly distorts Kerry's words. In a war of words Kerry is going to cut down the strings of this marionette. Woody's gonna be Wood Chips before this night is over!!!

10. What he said about Kerry today is the same language he uses agains AlQ. |
|
He's trying to associate Kerry with Terrorists. It's called demagoguery:
demagogue
\Dem"a*gogue\ (?; 115), n. magogue.] A leader of the rabble; one who attempts to control the multitude by specious or deceitful arts; an unprincipled and factious mob orator or political leader. An appealer to the worst instincts and prejudices of the mob.
It's also effective. Remember, we've gone from 'We have nothing to fear but fear itself' to 'Be afraid all the time, and keep shopping.'
