Anyone else think Ed Gillespie sounded especially nervous
when he appeared on MSNBC about an hour ago? I can't recall any particular thing he said that gave that impression -- I was rushing and wasn't giving the program all my attention -- but I was struck by the tone of voice and how fast he was talking. Maybe they're really terrified that Chimpy will do even worse tonight than in the first two debates?

2. Screwnose!
the faster he talks, the more he lies, which is hard to tally, at any rate

but he's one of the most obvious liars out there

he really does speed up as both the number and outrageousness of the lies increase

I love watching him, in a trainwreck/Condi sort of way

3. I heard Bush is hiding in a closet with a bottle of rum...
...and the secret service can't find him.

I don't believe a word of it, of course.

It's utter nonsense.

A person would irresponsible to spread such nasty rumors about our commander in chief.

I'm sure the secret service is closing in on him even as we speak.

4. Ed Gillespie is NOT the person I would call to help calm me down.
"Nervous" is an understatement

6. Maybe Ed's Enron lobbyist activities included some ....
"special contributions" from Andy Fastow.

You know, some cut ins on a couple of those illegal deals.
