Republican acquaintances I used to vaguely respect have sent me this image (it's hosted on some idiot GOP site) claiming this is a Dem. advert.

What makes me furious is that THIS IS SO OBVIOUSLY A FAKE ADVERT. NO Dem would EVER even think of making such a crass, offensive ad. This is Rove at his nastiest - putting out seemingly anti-* stuff that has the effect of making US look bad. And you know what scares me?

There's a lot more where this came from.

When our man destroys * tonight, it will not - to plagiarize Churchill - mark the end of the campaign, or even the beginning of the end. It's the end of the beginning. Pull on your hard hats and get ready for the final push.

4. First time I've ever seen it here, and I've lurked here

4-6 hours every day for the past year. As a former Special Olympics volunteer, I find it thoroughly repugnant and I don't believe anyone here would post it.
