FREEREPULSIVE Debate Poll strategy?
Edited on Wed Oct-13-04 07:15 PM by BUSHOUT
If they're capable of strategy....
They're all over the map tonight.

Here's a couple topics to check out:

here
and
here

Some seem like they will be hitting the polls for Bush...many more are of the opinion to let the polls go to Kerry so overwhelmingly that the poll will be ignored.

I suspect they'll have some bots on the go also. I SURELY HOPE nobody here does. I haven't heard of it other than accusations from the freakpuppies...which was just sour grapes last time.

So, if you see a poll totally skewed in favor of Kerry, vote for Bush.
If you see a poll totally skewed for Bush....also vote for Bush!
If a poll isn't badly skewed either way...vote for Kerry OF COURSE!

1. "Lets let the polls show ridiculous numbers that Kerry won 99% to 1%."
"People will see through this completely."

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll use the same strategy on election day.

how to vote.

4. I 'd rather chop my mouse finger off before I 'd
vote for * . If there is a tie choice, I'll use that. If not I will not vote and check back later.

8. Just vote Kerry
The results of these online polls show active enthusiasm for candidates.

Lopsided victory is nothing to be ashamed of.

7. If it's 99% Kerry, 1% Bush, what will you do?
Presuming if....IF the freerepulsives are smart enough to collude in thier little games, how do we respond? Do we let them make the polls appear invalid?

24. Some of these polls have so many people who respond
That the freepers have hardly any impact. I say vote for Kerry on all of them if you feel he was the winner. It only shows a ton of online enthusiasm for Kerry. To hell with Bush. If the CNN poll is going 80% Kerry with over a million responses, you better believe that it's more than DU and Freepers chiming in.

12. Idiotic idea - who cares how the polls are skewed
They are not scientific. They are meaningless fun. They measure ONE thing and one thing only - enthusiasm for the candidate. Show your enthusiasm and vote Kerry only.

19. But people see them before they get tossed...
If it says Kerry won 80-20 for a day, then some people might see that and question their own interpretations of who won the debate. Or think that Kerry supporters are more energized about their candidate.

16. Just vote Kerry
Believe it or not, there are * supporters out there who won't check in with the freepers for their marching orders before voting on on-line polls, so there aren't going to be any 99-1 spreads.

Just vote for Kerry. It's good practice.

17. My God!?
Are you for real? LOL. You're trying to bring the same convoluted logic that the freepers are using to DU? HAHAHAHAHA

Let's see, Freepers think that Kerry will be harmed by having 99% of the votes. Let's just test that logic out AGAIN.

22. This is a setup for mediocrity
Everyone knows the online polls are BS, what this shows is level of support. 99% to 1% just shows which base has the better morale and desire to win.

25. Pretend they don't exist. If you're going to vote, vote for the winner.
IF you're going to play along with the "online poll race" bullshit, then play it honestly. Fuck this "strategy" crap, fuck the script kiddies.

I say vote exactly once in any online polls you find, and vote honestly, not along partisan lines. Yes, that means IF you think bush won, then click his funny little button where it asks who the winner is.

Because we all know who the real loser is: the American public who let the so-called "media" treat these online results as newsworthy in the first place.

27. So, you gonna apply this "vote for Bush" strategy in the Nov 2 poll too?
Edited on Wed Oct-13-04 07:57 PM by Mayberry Machiavelli

Look at it this way. If the Freepers actually were confident that their man was a good candidate and likely to win the debate, both for real and in the public's eye, they could happily assume that the poll results would reflect their assumptions and show a shrubya win. Since they obviously know their guy SUCKS, either consciously or subconsciously, they have to advocate these silly arcane strategies to "delegitimize" the polls.

So assuming you are not of that site, why would you advocate voting Bush both if Kerry OR Bush were way ahead? Certainly sounds like something some idiotic troublemaker from beyond the grave might try to bring to this site...

get poll replaced, swamp Bush vote with bots. Apparently, only CNN is not bot-proofed.
