Here is my worry for tonight....help me relax! |
|
Ok folks, Kerry has been good in the last 2 debates getting his style down in regards to 90 second clips.
My fear is that when domestic policy comes around...the "senator" in him does as well. Kinda gets a little wonkish.
Lets hope Kerry does well tonight!

See, that's the beauty of the lights. They help Kerry keep it short and simple. It was a beautiful sight to see in the first debate.

2. The only person who makes me nervous is Bob Schieffer |
|
Bush is his buddy and I'm sure he will try to help his little friend by asking stupid soft questions and try to hammer Kerry. I know Kerry can handle it but Bush doesn't need the help.
How much you want to bet that Bob Schieffer will focus on dumb culture war topics that will only help Bush.

Gay marriage, taxes and abortion.
That is ALL we will hear about tonight.

I am very apprehensive about Schieffer asking the questions. Last week's format was much more honest and to the point...both got hammered, but even-handedly. I am concerned that Bob Schieffer is working for Busholini.

5. There's a reason why Kerry has been holed up and not on the stump. |
|
Because unlike the shrub, he actually takes his responsibility of trying to take our country back SERIOUSLY. And, also unlike the shrub, he doesn't take it for granted that his daddy or rich buddies or his Uncle Karl will "take care of it" for him.
So you see, he actually studies up and spends time preparing!
Part of the preparation no doubt has to do with his presentation and not having the type of problems ("wonkish, too wordy") that you are talking about.
Have a little faith.
