Looks like he had a stroke on that side. My dad's face used to look like that after the stroke.
Or the smirk has become permanent.

than I've seen in other photos. Maybe he's had some partial paralysis or something on that side. He looks like a wreck, that's for sure.

It looks awful, like he has had a stroke. He has no control of the left corner of his mouth.
