My husband is a 10% disabled Veteran. TELL HIM THAT BUSH!

In 2003, Bush cut off access to health care for 164,000 veterans.

Bush opposed a Senate addition to the Iraq supplemental bill that would have added $1.3 billion to veterans' health care.

Bush's 2006 Budget slashes the Veterans Affairs budget by 3.4%, or $1 billion.

One million children in military and veteran families were denied the Child Tax Credit in Bush's tax cuts.

Bush closed 7 VA hospitals, at a time when there is already a 6 month to 2 year wait-list for initial visits.

Bush proposed to double the cost of prescription drugs for veterans.

next year there are more slots at the VA being cut. Disability claims will take up to two years instead of 9 months to a year it takes now. Vets in oregon cannot even get into the va unless they have serious health issues. becoming worse ever year.
