4. I'm happy for him. Bush is doing poorly, but, alas, so is Kerry

Bush has lied his ass off again, and Kerry's letting him get away with it. Instead of addressing Bush's lies and addressing the questions raised by the moderator, Kerry's been delivering meaningless stump speeches. Kerry's worst performance to date by far.

And unless you know in advance that Bush is lying, you'll end up believing the lies because Kerry hasn't been countering them effectively with the truth.

More than once Bush has thrown out that lie about Kerry voting for tax increases 98 times and Kerry just shakes his head and says nothing. That really sucks.

And when he had a golden opportunity to really roast Bush about the flu vaccine shortage he drifted off instead to his worn out stump speech generalities about health care.

Color me VERY disappointed.

Yes, he appears Presidential. And yes, Bush is behaving like a lying moronic idiot again. But I really wanted to see Kerry go for Bush's jugular this time and call him out on every lie, and he's just not doing it.
