So, Mr. President, I'm a teacher. Have I just been shuffling kids through my classroom, uncaring as to whether they can read or write? You BASTARD.

He insults every administrator and teacher when he says shit like that. And everyone who works in education knows No Child Left Behind is a PIECE OF SHIT. Even republican educators HATE it. I have not been able to find an educator here in TX who agrees with it or likes it. Get administrators off the record and they bitch their asses off about it.

IT'S AN UNFUNDED MANDATE, but he acts like it has just SAVED our schools, hallelujah! BULLSHIT.

Bullshit. Guess what, schools here in TX are WORSE under NCLB than they were before and that's saying something.

1. As a former teacher,
I agree. He's insulted teachers and all those who help with public schools. Kerry is nailing him on it, though, about losing after school programs.

3. I swear I'm insulted every time that man opens his mouth
but when he starts acting like he was the Savior of Public Schools I really have violent thoughts. He doesn't give a SHIT about Pedro or Juan or Cedrick or Luisa or Lakeisha. Bastard asshole.

2. Totally agree
and as a bilingual teacher who teaches kids who are learning English, NCLB hurts them.

5. It sure as hell does
because the second language learners have to pass the SAME DAMN test the rest of the kids take.

Now how the hell does THAT work? Can you imagine doing that bush? You can't even speak ONE damn language.

4. NCLB is just another exercise in the attempt to export tax dollars
into private hands.

6. Wow Texas schools are worse now than they were when Bush was governor
What do they do now in Texas? Do they feed the kids tons of sugar and caffine then let them run around in the school yard and the kid who hit's the most trees get's an A.

One Texas teacher:"Hey Johnny got a black eye: honor roll."
