Today’s frank and forthright discussion marks a meeting of the mind with the President and the Congressional Black Caucus on Haiti. The meeting marks the second time that the President has met with the Caucus during his tenure in the Oval Office. Earlier this afternoon, Members of the Caucus voiced their concerns regarding Haiti during a White House meeting with Secretary of State Colin Powell, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, and Andrew Card, the White House Chief of Staff.
