2. What the hell? Anybody got a link for that?

If the media don't cover that, they're even more crooked than I thought.

4. here
Tom Schieffer may be a Democrat, but he still has a lot in common with President George W. Bush, namely baseball and oil.

Schieffer, Bush's nominee as ambassador to Australia, is the former president of the Texas Rangers baseball team who worked with Bush when the former Texas governor was part owner of the team. Schieffer is also a Dallas attorney whose clients reportedly include several oil and gas companies.

Schieffer served three terms in the Texas legislature as a Democrat. But he was a supporter of Bush's campaigns for governor and president. His brother, Bob, is a CBS News correspondent.

Schieffer and his wife gave all of $4,000 to candidates and parties in the 1999-2000 election cycle -- $2,000 to the Bush campaign and $2,000 to the campaign of Democratic Rep. Martin Frost (Texas).

5. There is no
question about it in my mind. He knew the questions. We need to SCREAM about this. There is no other explaination for his performance.
