The only question Kerry didn't answer was about the flu shortage. |

1. His answer was broader. |
|
Roughly, Bush neglects health care in general so it's no surprise that we are caught off guard without flu vaccines.

2. Kerry is out of that loop |
|
Sadly, Bush is IN that loop, but so looped he's out of it.
Really, this is a public health issue. He "dropped the ball" -- and then he blamed a company from England.
Which is about par on Bush's 8-hole course.

I really wanted Kerry to answer this question. He did excellent on every other point, but I think Kerry doesn't know how/why the British company managed to get their vaccine infected w/bacteria.

4. Because it was a biased question |
|
Obviously Kerry isn't in a position to do anything about at the moment. I like Kerry's response better.

5. I Noticed That Too! But As Other DU'ers Said... Kerry Probably |
|
doesn't have that info...
so he used the question to pound Jr. and talk up his own health insurance plan.
It was a STUPID QUESTION.
What about the environment?

7. Shrub did say that reason we were short on vaccine... |
|
....was that we had outsourced our supplies to England. They ran out, and now want to charge us a premium for any more they get to us. BWAH-HA-HA!!!!!!!!!!!

9. No one wants to say the truth about it |

which is that the flu vaccine is at best a gimmick and at worst a serious danger to public health

No question on the environment, but we devoted an entire question to something that no one will remember in a year.

12. I thought Kerry missed an opening….. |
|
The vaccine is on a supply/demand price run-away….
Over half of our needs are being manufactured outside….
We have a new manufacturing czar who’s not doing what was billed….
The twit talked about getting something out of Canada yet he blocks the importation of needed low cost drugs from Canada…..obviously if we get any vaccine out of Canada….it won’t be cheap…..
Such a big window on outsourcing, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing….yet missed by a mile….

16. I don't disagree with your observations, but Kerry shouuld have |
|
had an answer. Something like errors happen in mfg, but we need druge companies in the US to take control of US health problems. We shouldn't be dependent on anyone elst for our health safety.
