Bush's religiosity
Have you noticed how Bush isn't sounding as much like a bible thumper? I've noticed that in all the debates.

In 2000, he was dry humping Jesus on stage. Now he's being more measured about talking about religion.

Bush clearly suffers from multiple personality disorder.

:puke:

4. Bush's religiosity seemed hard for Bush to explain because he...
...knows he is under a microscope. Kerry was much more comfortable explaining his views because he knows he is not going to try to convert masses of people to his way of thinking about religion the way Bush seems obligated to do.

DU this poll before the freepers get ahold of it <link>

6. Kerry was so natural in his response to the religion question
And very inclusive at the same time. He's going to be an amazing president.

7. This one was the worst
God wants me to spread freedom. So that's why our kids are dying? It was downright creepy and I think most of America will think so too, no matter what they say out loud. America isn't THAT kind of religious, not even rural America.

12. anyone else think that what's really being "spread" is not freedom
but Christianity?

Bush's description of it as "God's gift" and evangelical zeal with the "march" suggests as much.

8. He said his religion was "deeply personal" ...
... and then he went into great detail about his religion. Another Bush Flip-Flop.

11. bush religiousity is extrinsic
and Kerry's appears to be intrincis --

There is a lot of research (Soc, soc-Psy, Anthro) in religiousity and personaity & culture.

In other words -- bush wears his religions and hasn't internalized any of Christ's teachings.
