But then these were good Kerry issues - and Bob S. wouldn't ever let Kerry get a home run. I wish Kerry had found a way to get them in the side or back door.

A lot of crap, fluffy questions.. and he seemed to always give the Chimp the last word in each round.

8. I thought Kerry's "marrying up" joke did a lot of good for him. |
|
Probably the most endearing thing he's done in all the debates.

He took that straw of a question and spun it into gold. The audience loved it, and it'll end-up played-over for the rest of the week on pundit shows. It was endearing, just like his "mom in the hospital" story.

worked really good for Reagan. Let's see how it does for Kerry. I think Kerry actually had better delivery than Reagan--and the joke works better for him--'cause he REALLY married up!

7. My 12-year-old asked why they didn't talk about the environment. |
|
He said he would have asked a question about it. Seems like it should have been an obvious topic.

all the "debates" have all been "set up" as much as the neos could (in)humanly manage.
We are dealing with the neos here (or the "neo-cons" if you must), not the Girl Scouts.
And this isn't political debate -- it's marketing. Pretty much everything that the neos do is marketing. (But just check out how bad the marketing (propaganda) gets, when their arrogance takes over and they scorn letting the "pros" work things over.) And they have only been pretending not to concern themselves much with the debates -- they have been working hard on projecting the "right image" -- and keeping their lies straight.
Why do you think that "hard work" thing kept popping up?
This is as hard as the work ever gets for old Georgie-Boy -- or ever has -- or ever will.
