I caught that one right away. However, the big news in this debate is Shrub's gaff on Osama. Just watch how that plays out.

Just because Canadian flu vaccine may save the day doesn't mean the REST of their drugs aren't from third worlds!

4. Yeah, I didn't get that either |

Why is the manufacture of our vaccines being "outsourced" to anyone?
BTW, Bush was boneheaded when he said, "If you're healthy, just don't get a flu shot." There IS an alternative. There is a nasal mist flu vaccine that that is made from weakened viruses. It cost about $25 (rather than $20 for a regular flu shot) and is considered about as effective. Because it uses weakened virus, there is some risk of getting a mild case of the flu, with cold like symptoms.

5. Shortage of FLU vaccine is real and I think he thought it would be |

unwise to keep quarreling over this one. Where as re-importation is a cost issue not a supply issue, which everyone understands.

Bush left himself way too open on that one. Kerry should have nailed him on it. Bring up the health care thing later.
First, if Canadians can be trusted with our flu vaccines, why not the prescription drugs sent over there by US companies?
Second, why aren't US scientists working on this? Is it because our bible banging Bush administration loathes anything science outside of a successful space mission?
Kerry needed to call him out on this.
