Bush's smirking: Bush taking the debates as a joke?
I dunno if its just me, but this is what I think on the split screens: Bush was smirking like the issues and the debate was some kind of joke (or at the least not taking the subject matter seriously). He looked unconcerned and like these were high school debates or just mock classroom debates. How can anyone see that and not think that Bush looks way too much like this debate and the issues being discussed didn't matter to him much? And of course, because his attitude is to ignore reality and talk of fantasyland.

1. I totally agree

His laughter and goofy smiles during subjects of intense importance were just plain weird and very inappropriate. I think he was clearly on some kind of mood altering substance. He can't handle that kind of criticism when straight and sober.
They probablly thought goofiness was preferable to looking too quick on the trigger.

2. I don't know about high school debates,
because you want to win them. He just didn't seem to care.

3. No, he takes all the issues as a joke.
He doesn't take the job seriously. He looked like a little kid, not the president of the United States.

4. No, his laughs are like the laughs
of overconfident know-nothing arrogant assholes.

When you press a freeper you know in real life...they get angry, right? And go off the edge. But if other people are watching (who they want to impress/sway/prove themselves to) they laugh constantly like 'you are so wrong and it's so obvious i don't even need to argue with you because you're so wrong it's a joke.'

You know what I mean?

Dumbass form of arguing.

he's a guy you want to go have a beer with, he's easy-going, he's relaxed, he's-- You ever wonder how they keep a straight face when they're peddling this bilge?

(I trust it's obvious, but everything up to the dash was me being sarcastic.)

13. I do not want to have a beer with Bush
Who makes this shit up? When I've met people like Bush in bars I usually end up leaving early or have to be restrained so I don't kick the crap out of them.

7. Bush looks like the cocky showoff in those high school movies
Which also shows that he doesn't take the debate seriously other than to drive his point for his base, which is full of people like him.

If this many Americans like a cocky asshole like Bush, then that says something about at least 40% of America's population.....

No more smirking or scowling. Now we have hyped up George, laughing and drooling all over the place. Damn, can't they get his meds under control?

12. yeah, well anyone who thinks they can make him explain anything
well, that's just the wrong idea. It's up to others to explain themselves to him. That's the funny thing aboutbeing "The President"
