What the hell is with all these polls! Bush is doing worse than he did with the last debate and he was much better tonight.

they actually thought that the softball game would help the chimp. Once again, he comes up short! Those questions were almost laughable. Unfortunately, this is a debate for the presidency of the United States of America. I'll proudly cast my vote for the Senator from Mass.

10. I Love The "They Polled Liberal Time Zones" Theme
"Reminds me of that Newsweek poll from a week or so ago that was only able to sample the leftmost timezones after the debate."

Right up there with the "Men were watching baseball, so only mushy women were polled" theme.

As an atheist, I cry for my children having to grow up in a world of truth deniers.

13. Freepers still in denial
Where were all these pollsters at the second debate?? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember Gallup doing a snap shot poll after the 2nd one!! SOMETHING SMELLS!

----------------------------------------

Keep in mind most men are watching the baseball playoffs.

DING DING DING! We have a winner! That is primarily why these polls are skewing Kerry even though Bush beat the crap out of him. Women are more likely to support Democrats.
--------------------------------------------

Yeah and the "instapolls" all said that Gore won the debates in 2000.

------------------------------------------

Notice this last comment is a favorite fallback for Freepers. They used it after the first debate when Kerry won. They keep convincing themsevles that it's 2000 insteald of 2004.

16. Who freakin' cares?

It's the women voters we are really after here. If Kerry can restore his former solid lead among women he will walk to the white house. I think he did it in the last two debates, handily.

17. More rationalization from Freeprs...
What do the group of people these networks have in a closed room, say? I think it is MSNBC, or CNBC, have undecideds in a room gather and give there thoughts. After the 2nd debate they had GWB winning.

--------------------------------------

To: okstate
I would say that Kerry won the debate too. He had more facts and figures on his side. He seemed to speak with more confidence. If that's how a debate is judged then yes, he won. But he also came across as a know it all. He came across as a boor. He wasn't likeable. Bush was the opposite. He's the guy who works down the hall. He's your neighbor. Watching Bush's face his expression most of the time when Kerry was talking seemed to say "Can you believe the crap this guy is shoveling?".

Yup. Kerry won the debate. But Bush won the voters. Bank on it.

-----------------------------------------

They used the same exact lines from the first debate. Kerry was unlikeable! Denial, denial, denial.

22. "Undecided idiots drifting toward Kerry"
Another freepstein, from TONIGHT:

"I'm almost giving up on this election. The undecided idiots just seem to be drifting towards Kerry. I don't get, I am dumbfounded. What I see on TV is apparently different from what most of America is seeing. If the Republicans don't ruthlessly attack Kerry from all sides in the next two debates then Bush will lose, I hate to say. Right now, for the first time, I'm feeling Kerry is going to win. I hope this feeling will pass but recent poll trends are not making me confident."

"Next two debates"? Dude, that was the last debate. There ain't no more.
