1. I flipped over and he was interviewing Bob Shrum--
Tweety looked like someone had let the air out of him. So I figured right then and there that he knew Kerry had won. Now, I have no idea what he said in terms of commentary, because I flipped channels as soon as the interview with Shrum was over.

2. he's sooo scared of sounding liberal
which he is, it comes out from time to time...that he'll try as hard as possible to come from the right, it's sad.. The only active liberal on MSNBC is Ron Reagan, and he doesn't have his own show. Obermann clearly hates bush but isn't political enough...There's no one to really but heads w/ JS on MSNBC...I think matthews "official" answer is "tie, unless you're educated then it goes to Kerry"
