3 of 5 on panel of independent voters pick Kerry

After viewing two presidential debates, a group of local independent voters has decided whom to support - and will use tonight's face-off simply to make sure they've got it right.
Currently, Kerry is the pick of the majority.

The Denver Post gathered the five panelists last month to view the debates. At the time, none of them had decided.

"Unless Bush can give me some solid, definite proof that he's the guy to vote for ... then I think it's probably going to be a Kerry vote," said college student Nicholus Bove, summing up the views of three of the five panelists.

"I'm currently voting for Kerry based upon Bush's view of the war," said John Pike, 57, a business owner in Lakewood.
