How many of you CHOSE your first language? I didn't. |
|
Don't most of us just speak the first language we hear from those around us? Check this out from the transcript:
"You cannot solve a problem unless you diagnose the problem. And we weren't diagnosing problems. And therefore just kids were being shuffled through the school.
And guess who would get shuffled through? Children whose parents wouldn't speak English as a first language just move through."
How was it their parents WOULDN'T speak English as a FIRST language???
And about that thing where he says we "weren't diagnosing problems?" Kiss my ass, bush. As a teacher, I have ALWAYS diagnosed what my students need. EVERY school and EVERY teacher does this and has done this since long before YOUR sorry ass came along. Bite me. I think someone forgot to diagnose your lying self.

I didn't grab that one. He's so insulting to so many people. I don't know how anyone can take him seriously.

2. Bush kept talking about NCLB as if it has been a great success for |

everyone. These "children whose parents wouldn't speak English as a first language" are a prime example of the students who ARE being left behind by this testing.
He has done absolutely nothing for this country. That showed once again tonight when he had no answers for the questions.
