Not in Kerry--he did fine with what he was given. The moderator really sucked. Not one single question about the environment or about energy! So Kerry missed a big chance to talk about how consumers and pension funds were screwed by Enron and about the secret task force, and most especially the about the Apollo Alliance program to create the jobs of tomorrow by investing in alternative energy programs and environmental cleanup.

2. It was supposed to be on domestic policy and the moderator did a

very poor job. Way too much emphasis on foreign policy and the final two idiotic questions-do you talk to God and do you love your wife. Pathetic, but thats not Kerry's fault.

Where I do find fault is his INFURIATING habit of beginning an answer by finishing an answer in a previous question. It very irritating and totally destroys the flow of the exchange which, in this instance, was going his way already. LET IT GO, JOHN!
