I thought JK missed a good opportunity to take the Louisville Slugger
to shrubya's noggin...

Talking taxes, shrub mentioned how Kerry's policies would lead to increased tax burden on the middle class.

Prime opportunity for JK to bring up how shrubya has REPEATEDLY on the stump commented how middle classers always pay the tax burden 'cause the rich dodge it with their fancy accountants. Without any comment about how "we're going to close those loopholes and go after them". Plenty of campaign trail video documenting all this.

1. Overtime Rules change to help the overseers also a missed opportunity.
Still a great performance by JK.

2. Along with the recently released study detailing...
... that the tax burden has shifted from the rich to the middle class under Bush.

3. there's always a risk when trying to go for the knockout
If you swing and don't connect how you planned, you look bad and out of control.

I think Kerry could've and should've answered Bush on the Gulf War and on the "left of Ted" charges, but other than that, I think Kerry did exactly what he wanted: looked presidential, displayed a command of the issues and made a strong case for change.
