I totally loved it when Kerry quoted the Bible all over the place, and
all Bush could do was quote Fundie talking points ... a bunch of Fundie slogans.

Kerry went to a parochial school ... Bush was educated to have parochial attititudes.

4. St. Paul's isn't a "parochial school"...
Kerry went to a parochial school ... Bush was educated to have parochial attititudes.

A parochial school is a school attached to a (almost always Roman Catholic) parish. Kerry attended an Episcopal Church-run boarding school.

When I was at St. Paul's (don't know if this was true when Kerry was there), there was a required religion course, but it dealt with all the major religions, not just Christianity. And, while morning Chapel services were required four days a week, they were mainly nondenominational presentations on specific topics of social, political, or, yes, spiritual interest. The two mornings a week (Wednesday and Sunday) when actual Episcopal Church services were held, attendance was strictly voluntary. Being Roman Catholic, Kerry no doubt would have walked down the road a half-mile or so to the Carmelite monastery for Sunday Mass, as most Roman Catholic friends of mine did when I was there.

5. Al Franken revealed in his book that Bush was unable to
answer some questions about the Bible in the 2000 Campaign. And there was a report recently that Bush rarely goes to church.
