Most memorable debate moments? |
|
I thought Kerry's Tony Soprano line was funny.
"PayGo" was hilarious, as was that awkward "oh, never mind" thing.

and aparent immediate refutation from the spine-growing media.
"I never said I didn't care about Osama bin Ladin.."
"I have never tried to link al Qaida and Saddam Hussein."
"Senator Edwards, the first time I met you was when you walked across this stage."
As well as Kerry clearly laughing at Bush yammering on about (IIRC) NCLB.

3. that 'never mind' comment was really very stupid... |
|
very childish, uneducated, unpresidential. I fell off my chair when little bush said 'never mind'...and continued with more liberal, liberal, crap...what a jerk.

7. That 'never mind' thing was just * telling Karl Rove |
|
that he was going to try to answer the question all by himself.

Was it his stupid jab at CBS when he said that you shouldn't trust the news?

5. I couldn't stop laughing when he mentioned Tony Soprano... |
|
And to think that neither Mark Shields or David Brooks on PBS commented after the debate that Kerry neither "connected" nor had humor till the end....huh? They totally missed that one....Most of America who watches the Sopranos and Law & Order got it...

8. The Sopranos..no contest lol |
|
I don't even recall what context he said it in, because I was laughing so hard. I wonder if that was a pre-determined line or if Kerry came up with it off the cuff.
