Bush never acknowledged the praise Kerry gave him |
|
for 9/11. I thought that was a good moment, myself. Because no matter what I may say about what he did later, those first few weeks were fairly well done by the President. I just checked the transcript to make sure I was not mistaken. Bush never acknowledged that compliment.
Score another point for Kerry. All Bush had to do was say thank you to look just as gracious, but no.

Just like he can't admit a mistake, he can't return a compliment.

When you are sticking to a memorized script and generally cannot communicate with people on a person-to-person level. He's out of touch.

He said "thank you" to Kerry. We watched on C-Span, and with the split-screen you can see bush saying it.

8. He never acknowledged Kerry at the beginning of any of the debates. |
|
Kerry had the class to always begin his remarks in all three debates by thanking the moderator, the audience, and bush. The no-class bush never once had the common courtesy of including Kerry in his opening thanks. I can only imagine what other world leaders think of this small-minded, petulant little man.
