OMG Bush Is SO OVER! Let's Gloat. |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 02:15 AM by K8-EEE
Just watched the debate now, as I was out tonight, I missed all he gloating, so here's my belated gloat. I actually think * will be MUCH happier retired back at the ranch helping the dog chase armadillos. This race is Boy vs. Man and everyone saw it three times, unfiltered by the spinners, straight up in the debates.
Holy cow, I think this third BushCo persona, that I refer to as "The Chuckler," is even worse than Slow Guy In The Class from the first debate and unhinged screamer in number two ("TELL THAT TO TONY BLAIR!")
Kerry has remained constant, focused, and shown he is capable of analyzing complex problems, in fact he looks like he LIKES doing it, while Bush appears to want to be ANYWHERE else than behind that podium.
Hey Freeps, get used to it. The next President of the United States is JOHN KERRY!

5. Remember 2000 debates when the pundits said "Which Al Gore will show up?" |
|
That was such a stretch in 2000. But here in 2004 it's a real big obvious issue. We've seen the Three Faces of Bush -- and all of them disturbing. Scowling and mad in the first, hopped up and belligerant in the second, Mr. Goofy "I'm just kiiiiidddd-ing" in this one.
Jeez, what creepy mood swings.
John Kerry has been the same, solid, intelligent, thoughtful and graceful man in all three debates. No contest.

Bush has been, what pill will he take for THIS debate? He's reinventing himself according to the poll numbers and it's just making it WORSE..

they don't know the issues like we do and when * lies they don't know he's lying. a decent press would be pointing this out but...well, there's a reason people call them "media whores"

9. Watching With A Very Dear Friend |
|
Every convention, debate and election night since 1992 I've shared with a friend. Over the years we've cut up electoral maps and made all types of predictions. In '92 we worked together, today he's 1,500 miles away, but through the marvels of modern technology we're surfing, jumping all over the cable dial and doing our own analysis.
Tonight I blew him away. In the contests of '92 and '00 I was too nervous to predict an outcome. Instead I gave it in degrees...Clinton was win positive (I felt he would win, but wasn't sure of the "Perot factor") and in 2000 while I felt Gore could win, it felt negative...like something bad could or would happen. It did.
Tonight, I called the race...game, set, match Kerry. Actually I had done this after the first 15 minutes of the first debate. My friend was shocked. He knows how cynical and I have an instinct for these things, he was shocked how positive I sounded.
During the primaries I was ABB...not that I didn't like any candidate, I appreciated them all, just I wanted a united party and knew that through the long debates of Iowa, someone would come out strong. While I very much admire Dr. Dean and am strongly leaning toward joining the DFA (if they'll have an old fart) after the elections...Senator Kerry gained my admiration. Now I have never been prouder of a President and Vice President than what I've seen of these two gentlemen throughout this year.
Now just not to wake up...if this is a fool's paradise, I'd like to stick around for a while.
Cheers!
