John Kerry. I put my faith in you. I believed in you. You delivered. |
|
I was a reluctant supporter when you emerged as the leading Democratic candidate. I seem to recall a petulant statement on my part, about voting ABB, and not feeling passionate about supporting you.
But that changed when you made your speech at the DNC. And my respect for you, and my delight in your intelligence and solid approach only deepened as I watched you work tirelessly to win.
Tonight, with the third debate, you closed it. You are, indeed, the closer.
So proud to vote for you, and so proud to be an American under your leadership. And I know it's gonna happen, because I, and everyone else I know, will work just as tirelessly as you do in order to get you elected. And then, when Bush tries to steal it, we will all fight to make sure that every single voter can vote, and that every single vote gets counted.
And I know that you will not let me down. You will fight just as hard as we do to win this.
God bless you and your family, Senator Kerry. Blessings to you too, Senator Edwards. Thank you for what you are doing for all of us.

you have it, Senator Kerry.
I've gone from a lukewarm supporter last Spring to a Red Hot supporter now.

Don't get me wrong - I've never had anything against Kerry and have never thought I'd have to hold my nose to vote for him. During the debates, though, I finally began to see what Kerry fans have been raving about, and I have to agree - the guy's good. Nice to hear religion and non-religion spoken about intelligently, and women's issues being more than mommyhood and daycare for a change. And I loved the skillful way he got GeorgiePorgie to lose his temper during the first debate.
And I know it's a tad on the shallow side, but one thing I really like about Kerry is intelligent, funny wife.
