"WHEW!"
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 05:51 AM by A-Schwarzenegger
Gosh, I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations.

One of the reasons I'm such a strong believer in legal reform is so that people aren't afraid of producing a product that is necessary for the health of our citizens and then end up getting sued in a court of law.

I'd say, Bob, I've got policies to continue to grow our economy and create the jobs of the 21st century. And here's some help for you to go get an education. Here's some help for you to go to a community college.

Whew!

You know, he talks to the workers. Let me talk to the workers.

You know, Bob, I don't know. I just don't know.

Gosh, I sure hope it's not the administration.

There's a -- no, look, there's a systemic problem.

And there's no market forces involved with health care.

Thirdly, one of the reasons why there's still high cost in medicine is because this is -- they don't use any information technology. It's like if you looked at the -- it's the equivalent of the buggy and horse days, compared to other industries here in America.

We're changing the language.

In all due respect, I'm not so sure it's credible to quote leading news organizations about -- oh, nevermind. Anyway, let me quote the Lewin report.

And so I think we need to think differently.

See, the card, it'll have a period of time attached to it.

There are plenty of people standing in line to become a citizen. And we ought not to crowd these people ahead of them in line. If they want to become a citizen, they can stand in line, too.

Actually, Mitch McConnell had a minimum-wage plan that I supported that would have increased the minimum wage.

Listen, the No Child Left Behind Act is really a jobs act when you think about it.

You cannot solve a problem unless you diagnose the problem. And we weren't diagnosing problems. And therefore just kids were being shuffled through the school.

(FULL ANSWER TO NEW QUESTION on OVERTURNING ROE v WADE -- 2-MINUTE RESPONSE ALLOWED...)

What he's asking me is, will I have a litmus test for my judges? And the answer is, no, I will not have a litmus test. I will pick judges who will interpret the Constitution, but I'll have no litmus test.

...

He talked about the unemployed. Absolutely we've got to make sure they get educated.

Apparently you can't pass any test under his vision of the world.

Neighborhoods are safer when we crack down on people who commit crimes with guns.

And secondly, like my opponent, I don't agree we ought to have quotas. I agree, we shouldn't have quotas.

I believe part of a hopeful society is one in which somebody owns something.

First, my faith plays a lot -- a big part in my life. And that's, when I answering that question, what I was really saying to the person was that I pray a lot. And I do.

Religion is an important part.

I believe we ought to love our neighbor like we love ourself, as manifested in public policy through the faith-based initiative where we've unleashed the armies of compassion to help heal people who hurt.

And I can't tell you how encouraged I am to see freedom on the march.

I'll continue, in the four years, to continue to try to work to do so.

We reformed our school system, and now there's an achievement gap in America that's beginning to close.

1. Our Prez! - Whew!
If this country is so stupid to elect this imbecile on Nov 2, then the wrath of God be upon us.
Who can anybody who honestly sat down and watch any of the three debates still support that moron?
There is something wrong with him and if he is elected our country.

4. The Babbling First Dufus was exposed to his people full on last night.
Reduced to mumbling and incoherent semi sentences, Bush blew the 3rd and final deflate which took the air out of his whole campaign. The polls show a blow out.

5. It's obvious that bush is in over his head as president...
he is not statesmanlike, he does not to me, come off like a decent person.

Watching him on the split screen, I had the feeling when he was watching Kerry speak that he was thinking to himself, wow, this guys got some really good ideas, wish I had some stuff like that to say myself, why can't I say things like that, speak to the workers like he can?....

Great list, btw.

7. This list shows everyone how inept Bush really is!
Anyone who saw the debates last night could see, without doubt, how inept Bush is and this list could be several times as large! How anyone could vote for him is beyond me. Thanks for this! I had a big smile reading them!

10. We need to add
the new quote from last night.

"Gosh, I just don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. It's kind of one of those exaggerations." -GW Bush, 10/13/04

11. There were times last night that W was incoherent
The passage about is the best example.

He was just stringing together random thoughts and talking points but if you tried to figure out what the hell was he really talking about, none of it made any sense.

I've seen Bowery bums that were more coherent than W was last night.

15. I've worked with many managers in the business world like this....
You've heard of the peter principle....Bush is the epitome of this....
And since our business world has been generally promoting BAD business...we have seen a prevalence of this type being promoted. It's another reason why the workplace is falling apart.

Bush represents this on a grand national scale...taking the country down with him.

He's been a drunk most of his life....he's got nothing much upstairs to begin with.

I thought the most damaging statement was in the context of the answer about how his religious convictions might affect his foreign policy.
His answer to that was the most frightening to me in terms of how bad the "good vs evil" thing might get....and what might happen in the future if he's elected another 4 years.

That could not be more obvious, and this time he should actually apply himself.
