2. I was too busy giggling and enjoying time with MrG. We both agreed, |
|
sitting on the couch and holding hands, that it was a great comedic effort by Mr. Bush. What's that you say? He was being serious??? ;)

I can't remember all the things I've screamed at the boob on the tube.

essence to his nature. I think he would have been happier doing CBS Sunday Morning after Kuralt died, than Face the Nation. He sees himself as Eric Sevareid, but of course, he isn't. Some of his questions were pretty good actually - but Lehrer is the consummate pro.

13. He was frothing at the mouth... |
|
I just sat sort of stunned through the whole thing. How can people be so incredibly blinded by ideology that they would think this man is qualified to be a president.
It's way past the time to be yelling at Bush, he's a tool.
I was mad at Bob though, you're right. Where were the environment questions, stem cell questions. As moderator, I think I would want to ask questions that are related to events in the news right now. What was he thinking? That one of them would say... I hate my wife? At least Kerry's answer was funny and let people see the more informal side of him.

Especially every time Shrubbie turned whatever the subject was supposed to be into education. My most repeated scream: " I don't need an education, motherfuc*er, I need a J-O-B!!!!!"

Seriously, what was that? And did anyone else think * looked like he was posing for a Sears portrait for the first 20 minutes? I also remember him just claiming a rebuttal without waiting for the moderator.

|

Bush also said something in his inane fake southern drawl and I got hysterical over it, but my wife told me to be quiey and now I do not remember what it was. It was near the beginning though and referred to where he was from - like "back where I'm from we call that (Kerry)...something"(
Oh well
Yeah -- but it was watching Bush decompose that was entertaining.

16. Bush's pathetic comment about "stocks fell 6 months before I was elected" |
|
I yelled "that's because the stock market always looks ahead 6 months and they knew you were going to win and destroy the economy"
Actually, if you spend any amount of time watching stock shows, you will repeatedly hear that the market always looks ahead 6 months and reflects situations at that time.
So the sixth month thing was a bad reference for him, but he was acting like it was a point in his column.

18. I couldn't help myself.. |
|
It was bad enough that I needed to put on the closed-captioning so my poor wife could see what was being said..then it was HER turn to get mad at Bush ;)
The one part that got me laughing was when he talked about "knowing people pray for him"...it was something along the lines of "I know people are praying for me ....because I can feel it"....that was when I had to quote Alec Guinness from Star Wars: "It was like millions of voices cried out and where suddenly silenced"(paraphrased mind you)...All he needed was the robe and a beard and he would have been set for Episode three :)

quite a few times: on the denial of the bin laden apathy, on the maternity group homes, on the bizarre solution to outsourcing of jobs by attending community college.....uh....whu-what?
I also said "he's totally in lalaland" when he talked about a card for illegal immigrants and admitted as gov of texas he was incompetent at patrolling the border.
so...pretty much my normal reaction to idiocy
