I am so f'n sick of my state of Massachusetts...
...being used as a slur by Bush and his cronies! :grr: :grr: :grr: Apparently, Massachusetts was just fine for Bush when he went to high school (Andover, MA) and grad school (Harvard) here! :eyes: He needs to be reminded of this fact.

I say, right on! As we proudly proclaim -- "Don't Blame Me. I'm from Massachusetts." We've been right every time since that famous Nixon debacle.

11. Cool!
I lived in Cambridge until a year ago, I love this area! If/when I buy a house, Everett and Melrose are at the top of my list, convenient to the city but with room to breathe.

5. Massachusetts is an upstanding example
of sanity and fairness.

Just because an evil ghoul like bush is trying to malign it doesn't make it so. His ploy again is to "divide" the state based on the issue of gay marriage; the great divider, not a uniter.

His day in the smog is nearly done - the writing is on the wall.

8. I agree, though it is flattering
I live in the People's Republic of Cambridge in the State of Taxachusetts and I feel more proud every time an idiot like Bush bashes us. This is a great state to live in.

13. It was Massachusetts that started the American Revolution
It all started right here. The first town to fly an American flag was what is now Somerville, Massachusetts, on Jan. 1, 1776, at the direction of George Washington. Lots of town halls around here still have bells made by Paul Revere.

The list of Massachusetts contributions to the country is very long.

15. Millbury here and accounted for!
And Bush couldn't make me happier every time he tries to bash Kerry for being a liberal senator from Massachusetts. FUCKING GOOD! The asshole governor from Texas ruined our country. Time to let the adults back in charge!

I really enjoyed Massachusettes when I went there last month. I stayed there for about 1 week and a 1/2 and walked all over Boston.

I even received a tour of Andover Academy from my twin brother's girlfriend who attended Andover 3 years ago. Of course, there were a few * bumper stickers, but also many Kerry ones as well.

18. To all you in Massachusetts.
You should turn this around on those who have made liberal bad and being a Massachusetts liberal really bad.
You will find that it is primarily the RW Christian Neo-Cons that make the accusations.
First: Ask them to read Websters definition of Liberal and compare that to the life of Christ.
Second: Remind them that there would not even be a United States of America and we most likely still be under British rule if it were not for a bunch of Massachusetts Liberals.
I for one think the Senators that Massachusetts have been a great asset to this country. Unlike those Ass's that have come from TexaSS

19. Are You Kidding?
It's a badge of honor. Massachusetts is a great state. As is my home state of Vermont (also well dissed by the repubs) My representative to Congress are thorns in the side of the administration, as are yours. I'm proud as hell of that fact.

21. We're the goddamn CRADLE OF LIBERTY!!!
We were the birthplace of resistance to British rule.
We invented the American system of public education.
We were pioneers in the abolition of slavery.

Maybe we're not radical, President Bush... we're just AHEAD OF OUR TIME.

He better get a clue that AMERICAN citizens do not take well to being shat on.
