What happened to the "ownership society"?

Has Bush mentioned this theme in any of the debates...? Not that I recall.

Kerry said more about ownership last night, than Bush...who made it a key theme in his RNC speech...

Was it just too obvious of a play for the support of the lower class?

Maybe he just saves that one for the friendly audiences...

1. Bush probably decided not to mention it after he found out
on the internets that the Dred Scot case was no longer good law and the ownership of other human beings is now prevented by that Constitution thing he has heard about. On the other hand, he may just have forgotten to mention it since, as he has pointed out himself, it is hard work being stupid.
