Mrs. Cheney: how about Jim DeMint, proud gay basher?

<http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/13/sc.senaterace.ap/index.html>

Republican Jim DeMint is considered the front-runner in the race to replace retiring Democratic U.S. Sen. Ernest "Fritz" Hollings despite a few recent stumbles, political observers said.

...

The three-term congressman apologized last week and again Tuesday night for his comments about unwed, pregnant teachers being unfit to stand in front of the classroom. He came under fire from gay rights groups for saying openly gay men and women should not be public school teachers, but he offered them no apology.

So, Lynn, are you proud of your party standard-bearer in South Carolina? You know, the one who advocates legal discrimination against people like your daughter?

1. We need to send this to the media---
let them ask HER that question--after all, her hubby has been here to South Carolina to campaign for DeMinted.

4. And her parents wouldn't even defend her.
They said "that doesn't dignify a response." Well, it DEMANDS a response. If a member of your party, promoted by your party's campaign committee, is mouthing off against your child, you SAY something. But they won't, because they don't want to alienate their friends in the Klan and the Rev. Phelps.
