Is the media today making a big deal.....
of Kerry's "Cheney's daughter is a lesbian" remark? I do not have access to a TV so I dont know if the TV media is making a big deal out of it like their repub friends are.

At least on the internets (sic), it seems like this isn't gaining traction under the tidal wave of "Kerry wins 3rd debate" headlines.

What about TV? Is BC04 and the GOP putting on the full-court press, to make an issue out of nothing?

It's nice to see Elizabeth Edwards fire back.

2. Yes, they keep playing Kerry's comment and then Lynn Cheney's
nasty remarks. I wish they would then play Elizabeth Edward's remarks to ABC radio.

3. They're making a bigger deal out of Lynne's remark
that it was a 'tawdry political trick'.

I'm not sure exactly what the political trick was. Anyone?

4. yeah, right now on MSNBC
I am watching and they are showing the clip from Lynne Cheney and they are saying it "really struck a nerve". I've heard it on other stations too. I don't think most people will care, though. Except for those who will vote for Bush anyway for religious reasons are going to get upset because having a gay daughter is such a "shameful thing" you wouldn't even mention it in public.

I thought as Kerry said this "ohh- they are going to go after him for that" but I think saying it was brilliant. B/c he shut their usually hateful rhetoric down by making it personal.

5. I jumped around on the cable channels this AM and they all covered it.
They should be in a frenzy by noon. The remark about "marrying up" was covered too.
