McCain to replace Bush.....October Surprise
October Surprise...i have said it before and will reiterate:

The october surprise will be that Bush is forced to take a physical and whatever palsy or problems he has will become knowledge...rather than put Dick at the top of the ticket (which would lose) they will put McCain there....

Many who would vote for Kerry would gladly vote for McCain....and Osama can continue to run....and hide...

How would Kerry fight against this?

8. True - a lot of AZ Republicans want him out
I see letters to the editor all the time in my local AZ rag about it.

4. No way he could get on any ballots at this point
They couldn't even legally replace Cheney with McCain (the idea being, Bush/McCain wins, then Bush resigns).

5. NOPE. look at the dude in Illinois. even with reaction time....
the GOP just TANKED. same thing happened when Guliani left senate race in NY due to cancer.

these things rarely work out well for the party attempting a late shift. one exception was Lautenberg replacing Toricelli.

13. Lautenberg had an advantage
...He was a KNOWN quantity, running for the SAME JOB. The voters of NJ knew what they would get with their vote.

That said, nothing would surprise me. The WEEWEE reSeclection effort is in deep trouble. They're gonna have to pull something, be it another terra alert, pulling Ole Sama out of the freezer, or attacking Iran. They have to find some way to reinstill fear in the population, because people right now are fighting back and telling him they are sick of being afraid.

6. I don't think so. And Kerry would win.
The religious right would lose it.

10. Thousands have already voted. The deadline for
replacing a candidate has long passed. It would have to be a 'write in' on November 2 now. How the hell does that work with touch screen, I wonder?

11. No way McCain could beat Kerry at this point.
It's not going to happen, anyway, but Kerry is too well known and in position. Besides, who do you think Rove and the Neoconazis work for? The BEFEE that's who. The November surprise will be an all out coup before Caligula would step down. Hell, he can't even admit that he's ever made a mistake, no way he is going to step down...

14. That would be interesting...
...leaves no time for debates. It's "Shwarzernaggerific"...but no, don't think they want McCain to top a ticket, he's too much a wildcard.

16. funny you should mention....
in a quiet moment this morning, I was thinking about how f'ed up Bu$h's face was, and how if he falls further in the polls, the NEOCONS will be forced to sacrifice *, and pull in someone who could actually win. That might be McCain. Could this be the October surprise?

Weird minds think alike.
