Bush and the Repubs criticize Kerry's healthcare plan.... |
|
as being "big government" program and not workable. How can they criticize anyone on this issue when they have 5 million more people without coverage in just 4 short years. Whatever they are doing is certainly not working. They need to come up with a better plan and a better response. For them, it seems they are saying it is better to do nothing than take a gamble with another plan??

3. Factcheck calls GOP criticism of Kerry's Health plan "grossly misleading" |
|
http://www.factcheck.org/article264.htmlThey're just lying and scaremongering. Yeah, Kerry's big government, but someone who wants to get their hands on my womb is for "freedom."

4. Meanwhile, back in reality... |

According to Wednesday's Financial Times: "Motor Industry signals interest in Kerry's healthcare proposals."
Article (no links, sorry) said: "Motor industry executives and advisors to Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry have met to discuss Detroit's growing interest in healthcare proposals that would subsidize catastrophic medical costs. ... "Ironically, it is the Democrats that best understand that there is a competitive global market in healthcare," said one auto executive. "We are losing that competition."...A Bush-Cheney campaign official said: "I could imagine there are some companies that find the idea of shifting their healthcare costs onto the federal government an attractive proposition."
