I never like posting crap from Freeps here. why do others?

I mean, I really don't get it. it's kind of understandable when someone reports on how a repub friend is behaving...but posting the internet/email propaganda FOR THEM?

I just have to think such a poster is not using sound judgement, is a freep themselves and uses the old "uhhh....a friend sent this to me and I need to know how to respond" bit, or they really just want attention and will therefore post anything even if it is vile sh!t about Kerry.

What are your thoughts? Not trying to erode people's right to share...but shouldn't our efforts be on how to win? God, if we don't win....perish the thought.

something really crazy that Rush or Savage said just because I thought it was funny and other people might enjoy the sheer insanity of it. Personally, I've never posted a "how do I respond to this" post but I can see if someone needs an arguement....... Sometimes it's hard to think of a good response and I'm happy to help people with that.

11. I enjoyed it at first...

But I think that was because I was new to DU and more into the "us" vs "them" mentality. My mistake. I still read their site from time to time, but am very reticent to copy/post threads from their discussions.

I think its along the lines of the Rush factor. I remember when he first came on the air and I could not help listening and yelling at the radio. I wanted to call every day to tell him what a fool he was. After a while it wore off and I realized the futility of my obsession.

So, thats my 2cents. Yes I have posted "freeper logic" but it is unlikely I will be doing that in the future. I would much rather focus on how events effect our future, not their "interpretation" of those events.
