It is absolutely imperative the Dems take back Congress
As I was listening to the debate last mark I was struck by the statement Kerry made about the fact that Chimpy has not vetoed one bill that was presented to him. Then I quickly realized he had no reason to do this. With both houses in total control of Repukes he was able to get everything he wanted as he wanted from the very loyal and worshiping minions on Capitol Hill. I was further struck by Kerry's comments about how we are the most divided a nation as we have ever been. Well it is no wonder when you have one Party in total control of government whose sole mission statement is "my way or the highway".

If Kerry does not have a Democratically controlled Congress to work with the Repukes will do to him what they did to Clinton. Our government will end up in gridlock and we the people will be the victims. So spread the word those of you who live in districts and states that have Senate seats up for grabs and competitive Congressional races. It is not only imperative that we take back the White House but we must take back the Congress as well. After that the Supremes are next on the list.

1. Anne Wolfe for Congress! NJ-5
IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!

Too many in Washington, including my opponent in the 5th District Congressional race, have forgotten the fundamental objectives of government: to protect our citizens, to preserve our natural resources, and to promote economic opportunity for all Americans. It's time to change business as usual in Washington.

2. Congress is hard to take back
But we are pepped up to win back the Senate. Congressmen I believe remain the same by like a 95% incumbent rate. I may be wrong, but I believe thats what I heard.

3. I'm worried about the congress too!
I've been saying this for awhile. If Kerry wins, he still has to battle the repukes in congress for every little thing. Clinton couldn't get too far before he was thwarted by them back then!

I've been turning more to my state elections....almost forgot about that eeek! I think we'll be sending the same dems back to congress...thank goodness (though I might have liked to replace on of them but no one else ran except a repub!)

I believe we need to strongly support those dems who are in the running and those who will remain in congress, with all our might. They are our only hope in thwarting any ultra conservative bills that may come down the pike. I pray for a Dem majority!

4. We have a good chance of taking back the Senate this year.
We may make some progress in Congress, but taking control (or at least >=45%) will likely will require a huge mid-term effort in 2006.

5. just picking nits...
but the Senate *IS* half of the congress. The House of Representatives is not the same thing as Congress.
