Who remembers "Kerry's a closer" ? |
|
That's what Dean said. And I believed it, for the most part (I had moments - okay, days - of doubt).
But NOW we have seen it. It's remarkable. Kerry has ever so gradually become stronger and stronger in the game. Edging upward and upward, with some backward slides.
Is it possible that it's not that HE is a strong closer so much as it's the people just getting to know him better and realize how informed and presidential he is? That the first impression of him is not who he really is?
We have a ways to go yet. Two more weeks, and a lot can happen. But damn, this man deserves to be President, and he SHOULD be. We'd be lucky to get him. WE MUST WIN!

|
Anybody old enough to remember this song:
Big Bad John
(Big John, Big John) Ev'ry mornin' at the mine you could see him arrive He stood six foot six and weighed two forty five Kinda broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip And everybody knew ya didn't give no lip...to Big John. (Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)
Betcha Shrub heard it loud and clear last night. heh, heh, heh

5. Kerry will be a legend for pulling this thing off |
|
Something akin to Daniel Webster or the guy in Charlie Daniels corny song.

It seems to be Kerry's MO throughout his life..I think when weld was running against him for Senator..it was brought up also what a great closer Kerry was.
And now look at what is happening..it's surreal.

9. I remember what THK said |
|
Teresa said that Kerry wears on people like a fine wine. At first glance, they maybe look away because it is too Brahmin, elitist, or refined. With time, however, they begin to understand the value of his complexities and other things that make people want to buy into him as a public figure.

of regime change in Washington in three weeks. The flu shot debacle is an unexploited issue. Anyone talked to an elderly person about this? GM's grim quarter is sending a shudder through the industrial midwest tonight. Time for change.

20. I've watched Kerry debate since he started running for public office |
|
He was a good Lt. governer and one excellent attorney general. He is own a whole different level than Bush, bush knows that and now thanks to these debates the american people know as well. they understand that Kerry isn't the cartoon that the GOP has painted him as, now actually Bush looks like a cartoon and not just to us.
