Bush's earpiece spotted?
Sorry if this has already been noted. By now you've probably heard the rumor that Bush goes into these debates wired to get the answers from somebody off stage. As evidence, the theorists offer this picture from the first debate:

And this picture from the second debate:

Here is a picture from the final debate:

This picture, or one very like it, ran on the front page of today's USA Today newspaper. Here is a close-up image from that picture:

You be the judge, but be honest with yourself. And if you show this to any undecided voters or waivering Republicans, ask them to do the same.

1. Plot line from the movie "The Emperor's Club"
The kid caught cheating, then years later there's a rematch of the contest and he cheats again!

2. If Bush was wired...
...then why didn't cyber-Rove tell George to wipe the damn spit off of his mouth?

3. I hadn't thought of that
Maybe Rove thought it made him look hungrier, like he was salivating at the opportunity to say he'd never said that he did'nt give bin Laden much thought.

7. Per the spittle
I've read an interesting theory on this in the War Room section of Salon. Remember Bush has delayed getting his physical. Someone speculated Bush may have suffered a stroke.

26. Not Like The Last Physical He Ducked
they wouldn't be making him take a drug test this time.
At this point they're probably MAKING him take hella drugs
to get through these public appearances.

There must be something going on, but as long as there's no
on-the-record physical, nobody has to actually lie about it.

he was probably in the audience and couldn't see it from that distance.

29. junior is the spit and image of his father who pukes on other's at dinner
time.

When junior drivels, he slobbers and drools and his tongue goes south and refuses to be part of his lying words.

Dogs just bark, junior makes strange noises when he gets attention.

5. Strange....
You'd think the tailor could put some padding around that thing to smooth it out.

You'd think he'd have a makeup person darken the earpiece.

Strange.

I saw the humps of the reciever on his back, but in that last pic, his ear looks strange, but I'm not seeing what you are seeing.

But look deep in the ear canal. If you don't see it, that's fine.

15. The skin in front of his ear was folded

The skin in front of his ear was folded which is pretty unusual; I can't think of any other reason for that except that he had an earpiece pushing it forward.

Are there other pictures showing folded skin in front of his ear?

I can't think of one person who naturally has folded skin in front of their ears.

16. His head looks like it's turned
There's folded skin at the neck as well.

This pic doesn't prove anything to me at all. I personally don't think he was wired in any of the debates at all. I prefer that because it's easily proven just how big of an idiot he is.

27. For some no, for others, yes
I'm just not convinced that he was wired in any of the debates. The highlighted picture doesn't convince me at all.

Depending on the person's type of skin, age and other factors the skin will fold like that.

I just think this whole issue of whether he was wired or not is getting on the ridiculous side. I don't see the point to be honest. shrub lost all three debates. The election isn't going too well for him and his cronies. And if the polls and what we've all seen here is right, they are on their way out.

A waste of time, IMO.

32. I guess if I had the inclination to compare
all the pics ever taken of him it might determine if the skin folds in front of his ear :eyes:

I just think this entire line of speculation is completely pointless and serves no real purpose. As I said in my earlier post, he lost the debates, he and his minions are on their way out and the desperation is so obvious it's almost embarrassing.

I care more about exposing the obscene abuse of power and criminal acts of these people than whether or not * was wired.

Look at your family's ears. Do any of them have naturally occurring fleshtone colored lumps in their ear canals?

19. If the dems weren't running a jamming device offstage last night
Then they should be fired for incompetence. Even if the remote possibility exists that this barely literate moron is getting his talking points fed to him by Rove, then we should have prevented that from occurring and let the monkey stand on the "merits" of his brilliant command of the english language.

MAN, how I look forward to once again respecting the intellect of the leader of the free world.

You guys go after this like Bush is lip syncing...

He's on national tv...who cares what is coming in his earpiece?

why is this being treated like some sort of secret...?

You have to consider the Secret Service too...I would think they would want to have a concealed reciever on the Prez at all times...

I hope Kerry gets a earpiece too...
