Both the son and the grandson of a man who made millions doing business with Hitler's regime until he was shut down months after Pearl Harbor, have become President.

Every major network, CNN, FOX, etc., except CBS, has embraced the dark side. CBS itself teeters on the edge, as evidenced by its recent decision to not air a story critical of the fascists.

Mysterious outages occur when a station dares to air comething really inflammatory towards the fascist regime in power.

FCC regulations no longer mean a thing, as evidence by today's announcement that the Sinclair Group will not be stopped.

Mysterious organizations in several states rip up Democratic voter registration forms and no legal action has been taken.

Endless investigations without merit, and attempts to destroy reputations, take place against outsiders who obtain positions of power - like against Clinton. And fear is constantly used to keep the populace in line.

An illegal war, born from a mountain of lies, that has already harmed or killed over 10,000 our troops, all for the sake of oil. Yes, oil. Meanwhile, the man that ordered the deaths of over 3000 of our citizens remains free.

Fascism is basically defined as a system where corporations serve the state, and two classes of people exist - citizens who are members of the party, and everyone else. Can anyone doubt that corporations serve the Bush agenda these days? Can anyone deny that the middle class is being squeezed out of existence by policies that favor the rich, at the expense of everyone else?

This November, machines are really gonna cheat, and hundreds of thousands of voters will be denied their right to vote.

We must not lose. We must not lose. If we cannot take back our country this time, I do not believe we will ever take it back.

Sinclair is only a sign of what is to come. As it becomes evident that Bush cannot win fairly, more of these right wing overlords will roll out of their entrenched positions to stop a fair election.

Our side must be prepared to deal with this. The fascists will not go quietly.

When I read the 14 characteristics of fascism I see all 14 very strongly in force in our society. I fear it may be too late already & if not, I believe you are correct that this is our last chance.
