The concern I have is that I live in Jebland and so the delay in getting mine and my wife's absentee ballot is suspicious, if anything else.
Anybody have any idea?

5. IF YOU ARE MISSING A BALLOT, DO THIS PLEASE! |
|
Sorry for the shouting. I had a similar experience. I ordered a ballot 2 months ago, and called the clerk's office because I had not received it as of two weeks ago. It turns out that they never received my application for whatever reason. So, I re-mailed my application and received my ballot in the mail today.
So, please call your county clerk to find out whether they've received your application. If not, please arrange to apply again. If they have mailed your ballot, find out when.

8. Yep, there have been cases in court already where people taking |

applications for absentee ballots/early ballots have had those applications held up by a political consultant who was 'mining' the apps for info he could sell to his political clients. Didn't get the apps turned in in timely manner.
If it happened in Az, you can bet it is happening in many places.

and ask if and when your ballot was delivered to the post office. They should be able to tell you, and then you can figure out when you should be receiving your ballot.
