I'm on the West Coast so I haven't seen it yet, but from what I've read here O'Neill was destroyed and comported himself like an ass.

Well: the freepers think his performance was flawless. LOL.

O'Neill ADMITTED there were OTHER CONG THERE when he talked about the boats having come under machinegun & small arms fire FROM SEVERAL DIRECTIONS.

He's trying to say that KERRY claims more than one had rocket launchers; NO KERRY HAS NEVER said that; he has ALWAYS SAID ONLY ONE CONG HAD A LAUNCHER.

I saw "Nightline" & O'Neill was made to look like the pathetic liar that he is. I'm hoping that O'Neill makes a big stink out of having been proven wrong so that Koppel will publicize this story heavily. That would help eliminate any effectiveness O'Neill still may have.

Posted a comment about it in the main thread about the program, after seeing Freepers boast that O'Neill had "cleaned Koppel's clock" even though Koppel supposedly was "shouting over him." Freepers are so delusional. It's amusing that so many of them can't spell O'Neill's very common last name, either. Obviously incapable of seeing what's right in front of their eyes.

OTOH, their ugly comments about the story PrimeTime did on maimed vets (I quoted some of those in the thread at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1073203 ) just sickened and disgusted me.
