3. Ooops, didn't mean that! So add 10 to Kerry's numbers.

2. You could add Missouri, Arkansas and Colorado to that if it's a great
night. However I think your prediction is a good prediction.

5. I'd take Florida off
We don't need it, and I'd just as soon not trust it again. And I live here, so I can say that with impunity.

7. I think we've got a better chance of winning Florida
than we do Ohio. Hell, we one Florida last time and I think Kerry is a stronger candidate than Gore.

6. I like it, but I think it's going to be closer than that
I'm not very confidant that Ohio will go for Kerry. We went for Bush last time around and so far the numbers I've seen for us show that a slight majority favor him this time around. I'd love it if Kerry carried Ohio because then I could say that I live in a blue state, but I don't think he needs it to win. But then again you know the old saying: as Ohio goes so goes the nation. If we don't go blue this time, however, I think Kerry may break that trend. But I'm pulling for us. Hell, I'd like to see the whole damn country in blue.

8. Some recent polls (Washington Post, Chicago Trib) have Kerry winning it.
Some of these states will come down to a few thousand votes (possibly hundred), so they're not solidly Kerry. I however feel that Ohio will go to him because of the loss of jobs and the fact Kerry did a good job at painting Bush as a supporter of outsourcing in the final debate.

10. Good point
I hope you're right.

You can visit parts of Ohio and if you didn't know what state you were in you'd guess you were in Alabama or some other southern state. Ohio is really a mixed up state that's why we are a swing state. But those faux southerners have been hit hard just like the rest of us. Hopefully they will think that it's time for a change.

9. I gave BUsh Iowa so...mine was pretty close to yours.
I said something like 307 for Kerry.
