1. What's the deal?
I listen on satellite radio. My web connection has never worked well.

2. Maybe a surge in traffic?
Freeps aren't responsible for ALL our inconveniences.

3. I don't know what is wrong, but I don't think it the freepers.
They were having problems with the station equipment all day. Tonight, when I finally got the Windows Media link to Mike Malloy, it was fine! Mike broadcasts out of Ga via a different kind of link. AAR has been having little problems all week with their equipment. It just got really bad today.

myself. Thankfully, I caught all of George Soros's interview and then the stream went to hell. I couldn't listen to Randi at all and gave up trying to listen to Sam and Janeane and Malloy. bummer.

5. AAR's streams are pretty overcrowded
I'm compiling a listing of streams on my site:

http://ltradio.blogspot.com/

Just check the right column. Streaming stations are marked. Keep in mind, schedules do vary on affiliates, so check the station's schedule to make sure.

6. Go to KPOJ in Portland.
They use liquid compass, and I have few problems with them. Periodic stops, but just get right back online, and it's fine.
