President says "I can't talk or think well"..."Vote for me".. WTF is that?

AWOL has pointed out a few times he doesn't speak well and his campaign has acknowledged that the debates really aren't his strongsuit.

So...WTF is the rethug message to voters?

He can't talk....

He can't think on his feet....

BUT...vote for him to be the leader of the most powerful country...?


I swear if the damn media were not propping up this "puppet" for 4yrs.... it would be Kerry 70-30.

1. This happened at the office yesterday

One of the guys came in while NPR was reviewing the debates, and had on a clip of Shrub. The fellow said, "That guy is a ___ idiot-excuse me for language!"

Now what is intersting about this exchange is that the fellow is a Southerner who loves hunting and NASCAR. I thought these were the folks who were part of Bush's base. Don't believe it. This guy has hopes his son will be the first in the family to get to go to college, and he knows that if the Repukes stay in power it isn't gonna happen. He says he won't mind if his son has to go to war-as long as it is a war that was necessary. He realizes this one wasn't.

2. No, it wouldn't

You have no idea how many people down here are prejudiced against certain other regions of the country. It's not just the South. There are other "flyover" states the same way or worse. Utah comes to mind.

All you've got to say is "Massachusetts lib'rul" and they would litterally vote for his opponent even if he were composed of the recombinant DNA of Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin.
