whitehouse.gov (your tax dollars at work)
Is there a place we can complain about government funds being used to put this type of stuff on the official government website? Some kind of fraud and abuse hotline?

"President George W. Bush’s first term has been among the most consequential and successful in modern times."

"Now, I did have a chance to assess John Kerry once more. And the only thing I could conclude is this is not a good man. This is not a good man."

"John Kerry tries to put a bunch of fancy, fancy talk -- tried to disguise that record, sort of like his fancy haircut, fancy manicure, tried to disguise the whole thing."

"Such times demand a leader of clear convictions and determination, hope and vision, integrity and the courage to act. These qualities are the hallmarks of the Bush Presidency."

1. Well worth it.
That "fancy, fancy talk" comment has just made my day.

2. it's quite alright. We have www.whitehouse.org which is revenge enough
And if you've ever read their hate mail, you'd know how many IDIOTS really believe that it's the official whitehouse page.

4. His manicure?
Seriously, has anyone here ever seen a picture of John Kerry's nails? This thing about the manicure keeps coming up (because it makes his sound effeminant). . . do these people really think that Bush doesn't have a hair stylist and a make up artist fix him up before a public appearance? Do they honestly believe he's using the Wolfowitz Comb-o-Slobber before he goes out on television in front of 40-60 milliom Americans for these Presidential Debates?

6. The federal Hatch Act restricts political activity of fed employees
Edited on Fri Oct-15-04 10:14 AM by sierra_moon
Federal employees may not engage in political activity while:
on duty (or)
in a government office (or)
wearing an official uniform (or)
using a government vehicle
---------
An employee who violates the Hatch Act shall be removed from their position, and funds appropriated for the position from which removed thereafter may not be used to pay the employee or individual. However, if the Merit Systems Protection Board finds by unanimous vote that the violation does not warrant removal, a penalty of not less than 30 days' suspension without pay shall be imposed by direction of the Board.

http://www.osc.gov/ha_fed.htm
---------

Seems likely that there was some federal employee involvement in putting up that highly partisan web site material.
You can file an online complaint with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel at https://www.osc.gov/efile/dsp_login.asp.
It cannot be anonymously submitted online but can be done anonymously via regular mail or fax. See https://www.osc.gov/efile/dsp_login.asp
