Bush Caught in Huge LIE on Live TV - Media Lets Him Off the Hook
What gives George Bush the idea that he can go before the American public in a debate about the future of our nation and tell a WHOPPER like this one without repercussions? Is he truly a sociopath? What other explanation is there? This LIE was disproved immediately after the debate, on every network, with video evidence.

Bush doesn't give a sh*t about Bin Laden, never has, never will. Just as he doesn't give a sh*t about New York or what happened to us here. Bush did nothing to stop OBL prior to 9/11 and didn't care about catching him afterwards.

BUSH only cares about BUSH, and retaining power.

Who's going to call him on it? If only those 3000 could speak.

Is anyone talking about this today on the news shows? Or is it all Mary all the time?

Bush 'Not Concerned' About Bin Laden in '02

WASHINGTON — Sen. John F. Kerry (news, bio, voting record) caught President Bush (news - web sites) off guard during their final debate Wednesday night, asserting that the president once said he was "not concerned" about hunting down Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden (news - web sites).

In one of the testiest moments of the evening, Bush protested, "I don't think I ever said I'm not worried about Osama bin Laden. That's kind of one of those exaggerations."

But during a news conference at the White House on March 13, 2002, Bush said something close to what Kerry quoted. "I truly am not that concerned about him," the president said, according to the official White House transcript.

<snip>

"Six months after he said Osama bin Laden must be caught dead or alive, this president was asked, 'Where's Osama bin Laden?' " Kerry said. "He said, 'I don't know. I don't really think about him very much. I'm not that concerned.' We need a president who stays deadly focused on the real war on terror."

1. Boycott CNN and Fox due to their biased support of Bush and
refusal to report the news! Watch BBC and your local news if you must.

2. Which is more salacious and lascivious?
OBL or Mary Cheney. Answer that and you have the answer to your question.

3. I've seen it covered, actually.
NBC, surprisingly, showed footage of Bush's quotation IMMEDIATELY following the debate (during a little fact checking segment). And CBS showed the clip during their evening news broadcast last night. It's not getting as much attention as it deserves (or as it deserved when he said it), but it IS being brought up.

Why the Kerry campaign just doesn't make commericals out of Bush's old press conferences is beyond me.

4. Olbermann hit this hard last night.
First he showed the Kerry remark from the debate. Then, he showed the chimp saying it was an exaggeration and THEN he showed the news conference clip where he DID say it. It was sweeeeeet! I think Lou Dobbs did the same thing last night. I know I saw it reported twice.

11. If they show it over and over and over again
maybe it will have an impact. What are the odds of that?

6. This game is called Six Degrees of Mary Cheney
1. Osama bin Laden bombed New York City on 9/11/01

2. Osama bin Laden had a brother named Salem bin Laden

3. Salem bin Laden invested money with James Bath

4. James Bath invested money in George Bush's oil company, (and also was in the National Guard with George Bush and lost his right to fly jets ont he same day as George Bush for the same reason - refusal to take a flight phsyical)

5. George Bush went on to occupy the Oval Office and to sit on the lap of his master Dick Cheney

6. Dick Cheney is the father of Mary Cheney and employs her in her capacity as a professional lesbian to reach out to the gay community in a futile effort to win gay votes for the Bush/Cheney ticket.

And that's how you play Six Degrees of Mary Cheney.

7. Wait...
That is why the Chenys and the Bush surrogates have hit back so hard on Mary Cheny, specifically to take the sting out of the score Kerry made.

It is obvious that Kerry is very well-researched in his debates, which shows a very good staff of professionals behind him. It is also obvious that Bush has had nothing like this to rely on, just the same old platitudes -- "he's a liberal," "he voted to raise taxes," "he flip-flops."

I do and have always defined a "liberal republican form of government" in terms of the differences between that type of government and a monarchy or a dictatorship. Makes all Americans who like our Constitution into liberals. Maybe Bush wants to be a dictator.
