Look at the moral/criminal mouthpieces of the Republican propaganda machine! At this rate, the prisons will have to build in-house broadcasting booths to keep the "voices of the Republican Party" on the airways. Why do people who would go ballistic if their children hung around seedy criminal elements, sit at the feet of these unethical, immoral, criminal scum and suck down everything they say?? Well, this is my take on it, or at least how I think the average Wingnut looks at it. Ollie North was a great American patriot who was stymied by those evil pinko Commies, I mean Democrats, in Congress. The laws he broke, in Wingnut minds, were not legit. And, he was working for a higher cause.

Rush Limbaugh is obviously the victim of a vast left wing conspiracy to do him in – all those attorneys on the case are Democrats. (I do not know if he has implied any Clinton involvement or not, but I would not be surprised – my joke at the time it first broke was that he would blame his doctors because one was a friend of Bill & Hillary). So, his audience is rooting for him as he fights this witch hunt by those radical Leftists.

I mean, when I was down in Freeperville on business a few months back, they would lament on how far left the Democrats are now as compared to the 1960s and how much more mainstream the Republicans are compared to back then. (Reality is the opposite, but that is how they talked...) Heck, they even believed the Republican party is better for minorities...
