3. As much as I wish it were so, it's actually up $.08 for the day. |
|
Normal daily fluctuation. Not to say that the efforts to call them on their decision to run their anti-Kerry 'news' story have been fruitless--they have not. But their stock had not been materially affected- yet.

THe chart is pretty misleading. It's up for the day. Fluctuating between 7.30 and 7.20.
I wish is would really tank. I've contacted a couple of the advertizers in my area and told them I could not continue to do business with them if they continued to advertize with SInclair. MzPip :dem:

12. Intraday changes are pretty meaningless. |
|
If it starts dropping consistently over a period of days or weeks, then I'll agree that the anti-Sinclair campaign is having an effect. A minor drop in the middle of a day doesn't signify much.
I certainly hope it does drop and will do what I can to contribute to it, but I'm not holding my breath.

And thier decision to get in bed with these partisan liars was branded one of "The Five Dumbest Things on Wall Street This Week " by a senior writer at thestreet.com
It's having an effect.

20. It dropped 50% in the past nine months. |
|
Did we do that, too?
Look, I hope that we hurt them financially, but don't get so excited over small, short-term losses. They are meaningless.

13. I talked with someone who is an expert in the Stock Market |
|
He is one of the countries top stock analysts whose specialty is media and he said the stock picked up yesterday while people were distracted by the debate news.
Something interesting he said was that they were heading in this direction even before the scandal. Didn't get further information as his meeting came in.
Also told me what jerks they are and how he can't stand the president and CEO of the company.
but keep writing, it does work.
He also said pressure on the FEC would be the most important.

19. Somebody said they just got a defense contract. |
|
So maybe they're counting on that. But if I were on the board of a publicly traded company, I'd make sure we didn't do anything to piss George Soros off.
